About Us

We are registered for 26 children per session with a child to staff ratio of 4:1 under 3 and 8:1 over 3. This term we will however better the over 3 requirement with a ratio of 1:6.

Staff: Our preschool manager is Pennie Porter who is assisted by a deputy and team of dedicated staff with many years of experience between them. Our staff continue with their professional development and we thank them and congratulate them on the courses they have completed and qualifications they have achieved. The team work hard to impliment and share their knowledge and ideas.

Committee: As a registered charity, the playgroup is guided by a voluntary parent run committee, made up of parents with children at preschool or with children who have attended preschool. The committee aim to organise regular fundraising events including activity mornings, family days and sponsored events. Funds raised help towards providing up to date learning equipment, toys and excursions. All parents are welcome to join the committee we welcome new members, skills and ideas.
