Preschool

We encourage a free flow environment in which children can choose which activities they wish to do and move from one to the next independently, while supported by staff. All activities planned and carried out with the children from role play and crafts to maypole dancing and visits, ensure that they gain positive exposure to life, learning and their surroundings through fun activities.

Each child is allocated a key person shortly after they start. This ensures the individual needs of each child are met and provides a familiar point of contact should parents have any concerns or want to enquire about their child’s progress.

We have a healthy snack time every morning. You will need to provide your child with a piece of fruit and they will be provided with a choice of milk or water to drink.

We have a variety of topics throughout the year to keep children stimulated in both general play and more structured activities. We ensure children of all learning abilities are encouraged to participate in activities as they feel comfortable. The preschool benefits from a large secure garden which we make use of as much as possible.
